                                                BAD IDEA

Chris has been very involved with everything Wendy since her arrival. He takes her out ot potty, and LOVES to give her the potty command 'Hurry Up'. As we all know Chris is driven to distraction and has dropped Wendy's leash several times when something more intresting would catch his attention. I came up with the bright idea to hook Wendy's leash through the belt loop on Chris' pants. That way even if he let go they would still be side by side. Well, we live in Southeastern Indiana and the weather here has been snow and ice.  Wendy saw a cat in the yard took two steps and slid down the slight hill on the side of our yard. So I see Wendy go by, and then Chris with his pants around his ankles. Once the sliding came to a stop Chris jumped up and tried to get untangled from his britches. He runs in the house with his pants still open and says, "That was a BAD idea, now I have snow in my do not touch places." I held back the laughter only long enough to apologize for my bad idea. Moral of the story, Never attach a dog to the pants of a child who is swallowed by his 14 slim jeans.
