Puppy Milk Replacer

 

10 ounces canned evaporated milk

3 ounces sterilized baby water

1 raw egg yolk

1 cup whole (no skim or lowfat)  yogurt

1/2 teaspoon Karo syrup

Mix in blender on lowest setting, to avoid creating bubbles. Refrigerate unused portion and use within 7 days.

I got this recipe from www.leerburg.com I have used this recipe and had WONDEFRUL success after having no weight gain in puppies, and constipation using esbilac. If your puppies are unable to nurse I highly reccomend this formulas. This formula also works well with nursing puppies (runts) with low weight gains as a supplement between nursing.
